My name is Sophie Auld and I am currently taking Media studies at A2. Over the course of the last year doing my AS levels, I have changed my future career choices from Marketing to Film and Media Production. This is because, since undertaking this course I have developed my understanding and knowledge of the subject, adding to my long lasting passion for film and videos. My skills have developed and evolved as well, now being able to edit professionally, understand representations and how conventions are used to do this.

In this year, I hope to be able to expand my production skills further to gain further experience, for a future career or degree. I am particularly interested in editing, especially trailers and how sometimes editing can be simple but effective.
